I think he may be willing, going by his attitude at the end.

[ he seemed genuinely relieved, and he smiled, and it was probably the most at peace they've ever seen scien. ]

But you are right about being able to. That's another thing entirely.

Yes. It is that the concerns me. After all, nearly every odd thing that has happened to us has been explained away by these nanites.

[ he taps his own forehead, absently. ]

I can't imagine they couldn't be used to prevent words coming from our mouths, either.

The one thing that we can't do anything about right now, since they're already inside us.

[ how do they deal with something that already infiltrated them. and even if the nanites are not the cause of what happened, they're already weakening their defenses. ]

Scien made no secret of the fact that he was interested in experimenting on and removing the nanites, somehow. Perhaps that was his undoing.

[ which is... concerning. there's a vibe of something troubled at that, under the feeling of deeply thoughtful. ]

Perhaps. But since he apparently has to be brought to whatever the galactic court is, I am afraid our investigation may be difficult after this.

[ yeah... that's what happens... he goes to court. shakes. ]

I wish we could just keep him in a cell here. We don't know anything about their laws.
