[ lucien is hanging out some place quiet and is NOT the teashop. the lounge or something because people are milling around the new areas. ]

I expect it and I would have different answers. As far as I am concerned - no. Of something else. A broken piece of soul that shattered and floated about until it landed upon an unoccupied body.

There was a time I was ... well. Unable to be present. I had been murdered. This thing, this splinter, took advantage. It seized control of my body, and puppeted it around to its heart's content, while I was busy with the repairing of myself. My soul. Putting it back together from where it had been shattered.

[ BELIEVE ME THAT'S HALF THE FUN ]

It was a fool, and an idiot, and died and discarded this body on the Glory Road. Cree found it again, returned me to my rightful place. It is dead.

[ he doesn't say gone though. and funny, how a splinter is his home item. ]

[ he tilts his head at him. ]

Thrice upon a time ...

[ said idly, like he's not sure why he's saying it or the origin of it, but. it comes to mind anyway. ]

I need to excise it.
