...what I don't get is how these items even ended up for auction. Jolt should have been back on Weyard, not here. I deliberately didn't use the coupon I got for something from home because I didn't want to drag any of the other Djinn into this mess...

It seems like that is the implication, at least. They have confirmed that teleportation technology is a thing that exists here.
