It is. While there is space travel, it is nowhere near as sophisticated as this is. But I am, admittedly, not well versed in many technological advances of my time period... it does not really come into play in my day to day life.

None, no. But I am fine with it, our world is already busy enough without lifeforms from the outside being introduced-- humanity barely knows how to handle themselves at the moment.

A mix of both. I am not human, but I deal with humans every day. I cannot say I know them completely as I am not one of them, but I have had a lot of time to learn how they act.
