Something much more harmless, yes. I eventually found its core, and crushed it, and we were able to return safely.

Do be careful. Even for someone skilled, these trips are unusual enough that it can take you be surprise.

The pods are useful, however I am more accustomed to something that is even more so, and I do not need to depend on foreign technology for it.

... mm. In mine, two of our members were non-combatants. Even more, they were extremely unused to dealing with anything violent.
