[ Definitely a stretch. Blade likes his freedom of movement enough to appreciate the difference but certainly also judge the remaining limitations. ]

Likely intentional.

If we're granted more freedom of movement, it might be expected for us to be grateful.

[ A true affront to society. ]

Unsurprisingly, their facilities have limitations.

[ Complaining does little, but Blade would rather indulge in this for a bit longer than shower their captors with undue praise. In fact, Owner does bring up a good point with the other matter. ]

...Yes, looking at this, how could they expect two reasonably adult-sized individuals to fit onto the one? They seem to have poured enough expenses into the upkeep of this spaceship; it would be simple to do the same here. Unless their living quarters have received far more adequate...furniture.

I would doubt they'd need to do so.

[ They definitely gotta have those perks, including jacuzzis. Can you imagine if they had jacuzzis? ]

...The ship's general construction doesn't exactly appear to be lousy in regards to how well it holds up to attempted damage.

[ Based upon his repeated door-kicking saga. ]

[ Sometimes, the natural response to being in space is to try to break thi-

okay no. ]

...In retrospect, it is likely exactly like that to prevent others from accidentally being jettisoned out of space, or wherever the airlock must be.

[ Blade thinking of a way to explain this for someone potentially unfamiliar with spaceships. ]

A part of the spaceship. Just like these walls, that location can act as a barrier between the ship and space itself. However, unlike these walls, the airlock can be opened to space without damaging the ship.
baebladie: (that it's like that)

[personal profile] baebladie 2024-02-27 07:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Seeing as that could destroy the integrity of the ship, it'd be wise for you to hope so.

[ Blade says this ominously, lets that sink in before he adds on: ]

...However, depending on the system to get the airlock open in the first place, as well as potential safeguards in place for on how it opens, that might not be a concern.

[ Emphasis on 'might'. ]

It is something to do rather than following along with whatever is desired of us.

[ Blade's reasoning is a bit unorthodox, perhaps, but the spirit is definitely there. ]

...Which will also depend on how much access we'll be granted. If we're fortunate we'll find out which important places are sooner than later.
baebladie: (I throw it all away)

[personal profile] baebladie 2024-02-28 02:55 pm (UTC)(link)
It would depend on the construction of the spaceship. But, I'd think yes, if they'd want it to be secured properly.

[ At least, that's his opinion. There is a small pause, though. ]

This is all new to you in a sense, isn't it?
baebladie: (?)

[personal profile] baebladie 2024-02-28 08:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Even no contact from other planets?

[ Which wouldn't be too unusual either. There are civilizations out there that can travel a certain degree into space, but haven't quite made it out of their system, so to speak. ]

...Compared to this, I'd assume you would also prefer that day to day life.
baebladie: (But I know you’re on the right track)

You must be speaking from first hand experience, or simply as an observer.

[ Blade remembers what it was like to be human once. Though humans being a main issue hadn't been the case from his own memory recall for a long time. ]

Hm. Then that, and to a long-lived species generally, these young ones must seem like just children to you.

[ Where he's from, humans are not necessarily all short-lived, but he is getting the feeling that isn't exactly the case for Owner here. ]
